Privacy policy

Effective October 2026

J & E Supply & Fastener Co., Inc. (“J & E”, “we”) runs this website for our trade customers. This section explains what information we collect through it, why, and who sees it. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Information you give us

  • Customer accounts. When you register: your company name, contact name, email address, phone number and, if you have one, your J & E account number.
  • Orders. The items and quantities you order, your delivery or pickup choice, your ship-to address and any PO number you enter.
  • Quote requests. Your name, company, email, phone, a description of what you need and any files you attach.
  • Credit applications. Business details (legal and trade names, business type, years in business, billing and shipping addresses, phone, fax, email and website), your federal tax ID (EIN), tax-exempt or resale status and any certificates you upload, bank and trade references, and the name, title and signature of the person applying.

We use this information to set up and run your account, fill and deliver your orders, answer your quote requests and make credit decisions. To evaluate a credit application we contact the bank and trade references you list. Credit application documents are used for that purpose and kept with your account records.

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs. Like every website, our server records basic request details — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use them to keep the site running and secure and to count visits.
  • Site searches. We record the words typed into the site search and how many results came back, so we can fix searches that find nothing. These records are not tied to your name.
  • Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages are viewed, which products are looked at and added to a cart, and how visitors move through the site. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and receives your IP address and browser details. We do not send Google your name, email, account details or any pricing. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on, and Google explains its own handling of the data at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
  • Voice search. The microphone button in the search box uses your browser’s own speech recognition. Your browser’s maker (for example, Google for Chrome) processes the audio; our site receives only the resulting text, as an ordinary search.

Cookies

We use one cookie of our own, to keep you signed in to your account. It is required for ordering and is deleted when you sign out. The only other cookies are the Google Analytics cookies described above. We use no advertising or social-media tracking cookies.

Email

If you choose to receive our stock and product updates, we email you occasionally. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. Order, account and quote emails are sent as part of doing business with you.

Who we share information with

Only the service providers we use to run the business — such as Google (analytics) and Microsoft (email) — the bank and trade references you ask us to contact for credit, carriers delivering your orders, and anyone we are legally required to share it with. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards for the information we hold, including encrypted connections to this website. We keep account, order and credit records for as long as you are a customer and as long afterwards as our legal, tax and accounting obligations require.

Children

This site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices and questions

To see, correct or remove the information we hold about you, or with any question about this policy, call us at 405-670-1234 (Oklahoma City) or 580-255-2582 (Duncan). If we change this policy we will update it here and change the effective date above.

Technical information disclaimer

Effective October 2026

We are a fastener and industrial supply distributor, not an engineering firm. The charts, guides, specifications, calculators and product details on this site, and the advice our staff give at the counter or by phone, are general reference information. They are not engineering advice and are not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified, licensed engineer.

  • Structural and safety-critical use. Selecting fasteners, anchors or materials for any structural, load-bearing, lifting, pressure or safety-critical application is the responsibility of the purchaser and the purchaser’s engineer. Confirm every such choice against the governing design, codes and standards (such as ASTM, SAE, ISO or IFI) and the manufacturer’s published data.
  • Values are typical, not guaranteed. Dimensions, strengths, torque values, thread data, hole sizes and calculator results are nominal or typical values drawn from published standards and manufacturer information. Actual products vary within their specification. Calculator results depend entirely on the inputs entered and on assumptions that may not fit your application.
  • Accuracy. We work to keep this information accurate and current, but it may contain errors or omissions and may change without notice. Product photos and drawings are representative; the item supplied may differ in appearance.
  • Manufacturer data governs. Where a manufacturer’s certification, test report or published specification differs from anything on this site, the manufacturer’s document governs.
  • Limitation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, J & E Supply & Fastener Co., Inc. is not liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from reliance on the technical information on this site or from the selection or application of products based on it.

Need material certifications or test reports for an order? Ask when you order and we will request them from the manufacturer where available.
