Pre-Paid and Add

Sometimes the customer will want to pay for back ordered parts in advance.  When this happens you must enter the item ID in such a way as to not corrupt J & E’s inventory.  You must enter two lines for the same part.  One line will have an item ID with no pricing.  The other line will be special with the correct price.  When you type a packing list, you will back order the part with an item ID and fill the special line complete.  Note: you must use the comments to explain what is being pre-paid.  Refer to the section on Comment Maintenance.
