Proper Packaging

It is important to ensure a constant and properly packaged product to offer our customers. After reviewing these simple steps you will have confidence and the knowledge to do just that.

Always ensure you have clean hands.

You will be dealing with oily parts from time to time.  We have towels for you to periodically wipe your hands or if needed simply go to the restroom and wash them.

Place the label in the correct spot.

There is a white side to a packaging bag and there is a clear side. The clear side needs to remain clear so the parts are visible.

Place the label a little closer to the bottom than the top of the bag. There is no exact measurement for this. Just be aware that once the product is in the bag and you seal the bag the label will be closer to center. The goal is the label should be in the center of the bag.

IMG_0582 When sealing your bag you should hold the bag with one hand and press the handle down with the other. You should never force, slam, or slap the handle down.
IMG_0585 After sealing the bag it should look just like this. Notice the seal is consistent and sealed all the way across.

Your bag should not look like this. It is dirty and the seal is not consistent.

When you are sealing your bag you will notice a red light on the side of the sealer. This light indicates that the sealer is sealing the bag. It only takes about 1 second for the bag to seal. There is no need to continue to hold the bag in the sealer past that time. If the sealer melts the bag turn down the heat. The seal should not be melted through.
