In the event of fire or other emergency the following escape procedures are to be followed to ensure a safe and orderly exit of our facility:
After you have exited the building, you will go to the south lawn, west of the J & E Supply & Fastener parking lot. Assigned personnel will be accounting for each group. It is extremely important that you remain in the designated area to ensure complete evacuation of the building. After you have been accounted for, you will be instructed where to go.
The following employee’s will have emergency responsibilities as follows:

Warehouse/Showroom:

Employee Responsibilities:
- Become familiar with all areas. Be aware of Primary and Secondary Escape Routes and exits.
- Be aware and familiar with all fire extinguisher locations.
- Move to the Primary Escape Exit in a calm and orderly manner, if it is blocked or obstructed, proceed to the Secondary Exit.
- Immediately upon exiting the building, go directly to the container yard drive way, west of the J & E Supply & Fastener paved parking.
The attached floor plans will identify escape routes and exits for each area of our facility. They also identify fire extinguisher locations. These floor plans are also posted in each area near the fire extinguishers.
It is your responsibility to become familiar with each area that you enter.
