Using the chute may feel very foreign to you. You may even think that it would be faster to just reach in the box and grab a few parts to add to your scale. This may be true for the short term, but in the long term, after using the chute your productivity will increase.
Let’s go over just a few basics to help you get started.

First make sure your chute is closed. |

Then dump your product into the chute. Be careful not to spill parts while doing this. |

Next open up your chute just enough to let parts slide through. |
 |
Then slide your parts down onto the scale. |
 |
Remember, Do Not scoop parts out of the box by hand. Use the chute. |
