Socket Shoulder Bolts

Description:

Socket shoulder bolts are bolts with a low profile head and a shoulder that is ground to a precise diameter.  They are categorized by the diameter and length of the shoulder, not the thread size.  Thread size and thread length are determined by the shoulder diameter.  In other words, all shoulder bolts with a 5/8” diameter have the same 1/2-13 thread.  Below is an example of the dimensions for a 5/8 x 1 shoulder bolt.  Though it has 1/2-13 threads, the thread size is not part of the description.
